Your Role
We are seeking an enthusiastic Operations Support Engineer to join our dynamic team. In this pivotal role, you will support, debug, and enhance the performance and functionality of our applications and systems operating in high-availability production environments. Your contributions will be vital as you work with our products and advance your career.
Key Responsibilities
- Take ownership of investigating various production issues at both application and database levels.
- Develop robust, well-structured solutions to production problems.
- Communicate investigation statuses effectively to the customer.
- Deploy fixes to production environments.
- Escalate issues to senior team members as needed.
- Assist in creating and maintaining support documentation, including FAQs, knowledge base articles, and troubleshooting guides.
- Participate in a rotational schedule that includes weekend and holiday work.
Your Profile
If you are the ideal candidate for the Operations Support Engineer position, you will possess:
- A Bachelor's degree in a relevant scientific discipline, preferably in computer science, engineering, or information systems from a reputable university.
- 2-3 years of experience in an application support role, demonstrating a strong record in technical investigation and problem-solving.
- Hands-on experience with at least one major programming language (Java, J2EE, C, C++, Python, PHP, etc.) and SQL.
- Solid understanding of programming fundamentals (data structures, algorithms).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- A quick-learning ability to adapt to new technologies, work independently, and manage workload effectively.
