Ebury’s Toronto team is looking for an Operations Graduate to support core business functions. This entry-level role is based in a hybrid setting: four days each week in the office and one day remote. The position centers on client interaction, transaction processing, and maintaining strong internal controls.
Key responsibilities
- Provide instructions and perform initial verification of client payments, ensuring compliance with internal processes and service level agreements.
- Enter and review payment beneficiary details in line with company protocols.
- Assist clients with transaction and payment inquiries via email, phone, and chat, responding with empathy and enthusiasm.
- Handle offline client instructions, making sure all steps follow internal procedures.
- Take ownership of assigned tasks from start to finish.
- Compile and manually enhance transaction reporting files as needed.
- Reconcile client funds, foreign exchange settlements, and internal cash movements across banking partners.
- Investigate unallocated or missing funds, escalating issues when necessary.
- Fund client trades when manual intervention is required.
- Verify and confirm payment statuses in banking and payment platforms, including SWIFT GPI.
- Update client information according to established processes.
- Communicate task statuses to colleagues, supervisors, and managers, escalating concerns promptly.
- Follow all internal policies and procedures.
- Maintain quality standards and meet service level agreements.
- Seek and provide feedback, learning from each experience.
Work environment
The Operations Graduate role is hybrid, with most time spent in the Toronto office. Collaboration, attention to detail, and a willingness to learn are key to success in this position.
