About Deliveroo ODG
Our On-Demand Grocery (ODG) business collaborates closely with premier grocery partners across the UAE to provide ultra-fast delivery through a network of picker-operated stores. These locations are essential to our grocery operations, leveraging technology, streamlined processes, and robust partnerships to guarantee timely and accurate order fulfillment.
Your Role
As an Operations Associate, you will play a pivotal role in enhancing daily operations within Deliveroo’s grocery and retail partner network. This hands-on position focuses on driving operational excellence, optimizing picker performance, and upholding high service standards across multiple locations.
The ideal candidate will be proactive, detail-oriented, and thrive in fast-paced retail or dark-store environments. You will collaborate closely with pickers, site teams, and the central operations team to ensure flawless execution on the ground.
Key Responsibilities
Performance Monitoring: Regularly evaluate site performance by tracking key metrics such as B10s, rejections, missing items, and cancellations. Identify challenges impacting accuracy and fulfillment efficiency.
Root Cause Analysis: Investigate performance challenges, document findings, and implement corrective actions to prevent future occurrences.
On-Site Training: Train and elevate the skills of pickers on Deliveroo’s Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), emphasizing substitution management, order prioritization, picking accuracy, and a customer-first approach.
Action Plan Development: Develop site-specific action plans to enhance store KPIs, outlining findings, proposed solutions, and support required from stakeholders.
