About the job
At Orbital Materials, we harness the power of artificial intelligence to create data center hardware that sets new industry benchmarks. Our cutting-edge AI technology enables us to simulate materials at the atomic level and evaluate millions of hardware configurations swiftly, identifying optimal designs that outshine traditional methods. The result is hardware with exceptional specifications: 1 MW/rack, PUE < 1.04, and lead times of just 12 weeks.
Each deployment enriches our AI models with field data, creating a self-reinforcing cycle where improved models lead to enhanced hardware, which in turn supports more advanced AI capabilities. We don’t just benefit from AI advancements; we actively accelerate their pace.
While our immediate focus is on data centers—an urgent market with high demands—the AI-driven development processes we've established are applicable to any complex physical system. Data centers serve as our proof point, not our limit.
With operations in London, Canada, and the USA, we are building diverse teams across machine learning research, product development, mechanical engineering, and chemical engineering. If you're passionate about where AI intersects with material science, we want to hear from you.
