QualificationsMaster’s or Doctorate in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution. Possession of an active California Occupational Therapist license (or eligibility to obtain one). NBCOT certification. Exceptional clinical documentation and effective time management skills. Experience in outpatient, inpatient, skilled nursing facilities (SNF), or home health services is preferred (new graduates with strong fieldwork experience are also encouraged to apply).

Summary
Join our dedicated team as an Occupational Therapist, where you will play a vital role in enhancing the daily lives of patients by improving their functional capabilities. This position is centered around comprehensive evaluations, strategic treatment planning, and hands-on interventions that promote measurable advancements in home, work, and community settings.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough evaluations of patient functions and daily living challenges using both standardized and functional assessments.
  • Develop tailored treatment plans with an emphasis on practical objectives and measurable results.
  • Deliver direct therapy and training aimed at enhancing mobility, coordination, strength, and independence.
  • Provide education to patients and their families regarding safe practices, home programs, and adaptive techniques.
  • Advise on the necessity for adaptive equipment and modifications to home/work environments as needed.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of therapy sessions, progress reports, and treatment plan modifications.
  • Collaborate effectively with physicians and the healthcare team to ensure seamless care continuity.
