Job Overview: As a New Home Sales Consultant, you will play a pivotal role in generating new home sales by showcasing product features, designs, and benefits to prospective buyers. You will leverage effective sales and marketing strategies, adhere to company guidelines, and utilize your knowledge of designated communities to meet business objectives and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive sales generation through the use of corporate marketing materials, model homes, local resources, and realtor partnerships. Lead tours of the community, available lots, and spec homes for potential buyers and realtors.
- Act as a trusted advisor and primary contact for home buyers from the initial meeting to the closing process, adapting your approach based on the sales phase.
- Conduct comprehensive tours and demonstrations of model homes to potential buyers.
- Generate enthusiasm by effectively identifying the needs of prospective buyers and providing tailored solutions.
- Build confidence in potential buyers by promoting the benefits of M/I Homes, including our rich history, unique culture, the Confidence Builder program, community advantages, financing options, and competitive edge.
- Analyze competitors' offerings and visit other builders in the same geographical markets.
- Engage with realtors to cultivate relationships and drive sales.
- Participate actively in division meetings and strategy sessions.
- Maintain buyer engagement through active listening and negotiation skills, addressing objections with tailored alternatives.
- Ensure a transparent and satisfying home-building experience by maintaining open lines of communication throughout the process, attending Buyer Builder Conferences, and guiding clients through pre-closing walkthroughs.
- Oversee community management by monitoring the appearance and maintenance of homes and community signage.
