Requirements:Possess at least a Higher Nitec or Nitec qualification with a module in IT, along with foundational knowledge in networking. Ability to comprehend and execute procedures and instructions outlined in operational manuals. Strong teamwork skills and a readiness to assist colleagues. Excellent communication skills with a knack for resolving inquiries effectively. Able to work in rotational shifts: 1st Shift (08:00 - 20:00 hours) & 2nd Shift (20:00 - 08:00 hours). Successful candidates will primarily work at Woodlands Checkpoint, with potential assignments at Tuas Checkpoint in the future on a rotational basis.

As a Network Technician, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Participating in the Network Maintenance standby duty rotation as directed by the Team Lead.
  • Ensuring compliance with the Service Level Agreements (SLAs) for fault resolution to uphold high service quality.
  • Delivering first-level on-site network support to end-users.
  • Addressing daily customer issues reported outside of standby duty.
  • Conducting routine tasks to maintain network stability and proactively identify potential issues.
  • Diagnosing and rectifying network-related problems.
  • Managing the distribution of Media Access Control (MAC) and Internet Protocol (IP) addresses to devices within the network.
  • Overseeing patch management for network systems and devices to ensure security and optimal performance.
