About the job
As a Network Security Architect, you will leverage your extensive hands-on experience with various security products including Checkpoint MDM, PIX/ASA, Checkpoint Provider 1, Cisco ACS, Cisco CSM, IDS/IPS, RSA Envision/SIEM tools, and two-factor authentication solutions. Your role will involve designing, implementing, supporting, and maintaining robust network security platforms including firewalls (Check Point and Cisco), IPS/IDS, proxies, cryptographic systems, and PKI.
You will have rich experience in the implementation, upgrade, and maintenance of firewalls, proxies, and IPS systems. Your expertise in site-to-site and client-to-site VPNs, high availability, load balancing, antivirus, and content filtering will be essential.
You will bring deep knowledge of security architecture methodologies, industry best practices, and widely accepted information security principles. You will conduct vulnerability assessments and possess strong skills in switching and routing.
Your familiarity with security architecture methodologies (BS7799, COBIT, ITIL) and advanced knowledge of network protocols such as HTTP(S), IP, TCP, UDP, and DNS, along with packet analysis will be critical in your role.
Your responsibilities will also include performing security engineering, audits, and ensuring regulatory compliance. You will conduct periodic reviews and develop automation ideas to validate audit compliance across all security platforms, including Firewall, Proxy, IDM, SAP, and NT.
You will manage, develop, and maintain documentation and security procedures while implementing appropriate controls and audits for access security. You will work on virus, malware, spyware, and vulnerability management platforms, and support the design and implementation of new technologies that K-C may adopt in the future, including web application firewalls, database firewalls, and threat management systems.
Your input in recommending improvements to security policies, standards, and risk management plans will be invaluable.
