Qualifications

Minimum of 3 years of experience in medium to large networks, with a strong focus on IP routing, switching, and security. In-depth knowledge of MPLS, OSPF, and BGP and their interactions within the network. Hands-on experience with Cisco IOS (including IOS-XR and Nexus OS). Familiarity with Cisco Nexus 9k/7k/5k/2k, ASR 1000/9000 routers, and Catalyst platforms. Knowledge of Palo Alto firewalls and SSL-VPN solutions. Experience with large data center designs, inter-office routing plans, site-to-site VPNs, and FW/IPSec implementations. Proven ability to connect lab equipment, conduct proof-of-concepts, and document solutions effectively with diagrams. A data-driven, analytical problem solver with a track record of operational success. Preferred Qualifications:Experience with VoIP, RTP, SIP peering/trunking, and SBC solutions. Exposure to large data center interconnections and advanced network monitoring tools.

Join our dynamic global network operations team as a Network Engineer – WAN. In this pivotal role, you will focus on enhancing and supporting our wide-area network infrastructure, emphasizing efficient routing protocols, robust data center connectivity, and secure site-to-site communications. Utilize your expertise with Cisco Nexus and ASR platforms to troubleshoot complex WAN issues, ensuring our network services remain highly available, secure, and scalable.

Key Responsibilities

  • Configure, support, and maintain WAN infrastructure across medium to large enterprise networks.
  • Diagnose and resolve WAN incidents, perform thorough root cause analyses, and document solutions effectively.
  • Implement and optimize MPLS, OSPF, and BGP routing within sophisticated enterprise topologies.
  • Collaborate with network architects and cross-functional teams to design and implement WAN enhancements.
  • Support various VPN solutions, including site-to-site, IPSec, and SSL-VPN, ensuring secure interoffice connectivity.
  • Work with firewall policies and monitoring systems to uphold a strong network security posture.
  • Maintain comprehensive network documentation, including topology diagrams and change records.
  • Participate in change management processes and on-call rotations.
