About the job
About Nudge
At Nudge, we are dedicated to pioneering advanced technologies that interface with the brain to enhance the quality of life for individuals. Our innovative journey begins with a non-invasive, ultrasound-based device designed to stimulate and visualize the brain with unprecedented resolution and depth. This integrated effort encompasses the development of state-of-the-art hardware, software, and research capabilities aimed at delivering impactful products that can ultimately benefit millions, if not billions, of people.
About the Role
As an MRI Physicist at Nudge, your responsibilities will include:
Creating innovative MRI pulse sequences and image reconstruction algorithms that enhance sensitivity and precision in ultrasound neuromodulation.
Developing, validating, and implementing applications on our cutting-edge 3 Tesla Siemens Cima. X scanners.
Taking ownership of applications from their conceptual stages through prototyping and into deployment during clinical trials.
Collaborating closely with fellow MR physicists, RF coil engineers, and our teams of software, mechanical, and electrical engineers, alongside clinical operators.
About You
We prefer candidates with a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience post-PhD or in industry. Regardless of your experience level, you should possess:
A solid foundation in engineering and physics principles.
A proven history of developing novel MRI sequences utilizing major MRI vendor APIs, along with corresponding image reconstruction algorithms.
Expertise in non-Cartesian MRI pulse sequences and image reconstruction techniques.
Knowledge of advanced MRI image reconstruction methods, including parallel imaging, compressed sensing, and machine learning.
A degree in Electrical or Biomedical Engineering or a related engineering discipline.
Strong fundamentals in signal processing and inverse problems.
A demonstrated history of exceptional technical skills and innovation.
