Qualifications

2–4 years of professional software development experience, including 2+ years of commercial React Native (TypeScript) expertise. Experience in shipping and supporting production applications on iOS and/or Android, with knowledge of platform tools, application lifecycles, and app store processes. Strong understanding of secure mobile development principles: encryption in transit and at rest, Keychain/Keystore fundamentals, and awareness of OWASP mobile guidelines. Hands-on experience with authentication and authorization: integrating OAuth 2.0/OpenID Connect and managing sessions on mobile. Established testing practices: ability to write and maintain unit/component tests and execute them in CI environments. Experience in backend integrations (REST and/or GraphQL), covering authentication flows, resilience, and error handling. A pragmatic approach to production accountability: telemetry, debugging, and incident response in collaboration with senior engineers. Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a team-oriented environment.

About the job

  • Play a pivotal role in enhancing our React Native application, focusing on critical customer and broker experiences.
  • Develop clean, maintainable TypeScript/React Native code, adhering to secure coding practices.
  • Take ownership of well-defined features from inception to completion: gathering requirements, implementation, testing, and providing release support.
  • Collaborate seamlessly with product managers, designers, and backend engineers to integrate APIs and deliver a cohesive cross-platform experience.
  • Adopt a security-first approach: implement secure storage and transport patterns, and manage sensitive financial data with precision.
  • Instrument your developments: implement analytics events, structured logging, and crash reporting; aid in monitoring dashboards.
  • Engage in code reviews, contribute to CI/CD processes, and maintain a healthy codebase through consistent, small refactors.
  • Assist in release management and troubleshoot production issues with guidance from senior engineers (utilizing runbooks, feature flags, and kill-switches).
  • Gain insights from and collaborate with senior engineers; optionally mentor interns or junior developers on specific tasks as you advance.
  • Attribution (desirable): familiarity with SKAdNetwork, AdAttributionKit, App Tracking Transparency (ATT), and Meta attribution flows.
