Join the dedicated team at Maguire Kia of Ithaca as we actively recruit skilled military veterans to embark on a rewarding career as Kia Certified Service Technicians. This initiative is supported by the Kia Veterans Technician Apprenticeship Program (VTAP), designed to empower veterans with the training and resources necessary for success.

Role Overview

  • Diagnose, maintain, and repair Kia vehicles, focusing on engine, transmission, steering, suspension, brakes, HVAC, and electrical systems.
  • Complete repair and warranty orders in alignment with Kia and Retailer standards.
  • Test drive vehicles to assess performance, and utilize Kia diagnostic tools and techniques to identify and address issues.
  • Execute services, diagnostics, and repairs efficiently while collaborating with the shop foreman and service advisor to ensure an exceptional customer experience.
