Join Kia of Bedford as a Military Veteran Automotive Technician and embark on an enriching career journey as a Kia Certified Service Technician. Through the Kia Veterans Technician Apprenticeship Program (VTAP), we are proud to offer this unique opportunity specifically designed for skilled military Veterans.
Key Responsibilities:
- Diagnose, maintain, and repair a variety of Kia vehicles, including engine, transmission, steering, suspension, brakes, HVAC, and electrical systems.
- Efficiently complete repair orders and warranty requests in line with Kia and dealership policies.
- Conduct test drives and utilize Kia diagnostic strategies, tools, and specialized equipment to analyze and repair vehicle components and systems.
- Provide timely services, diagnostics, and repairs while collaborating with shop foreman and service advisors to enhance the customer experience.

Employment decisions are made at the discretion of the individual Kia Retailer, contingent upon meeting eligibility criteria, skills, and experience requirements for VTAP.
Requirements:
- Must possess an Honorable Discharge from military service.
- A valid Driver's License from any state with a clean driving record is required.
- Demonstrable experience in a technical or mechanical field is essential.
- Willingness to undergo and pass drug screenings and background checks is mandatory.
