Join our dynamic Forensic Architecture & Engineering team as a mid to senior-level Forensic Civil Structural Engineer (PE or SE) and be part of a robust group dedicated to supporting our clients across the United States. Our engineers engage in comprehensive forensic investigations, offer expert consultation, and prepare technical papers while serving as expert witnesses. Areas of expertise encompass residential, commercial, and industrial structures, focusing on roofing, fenestration, foundations, and building envelopes. Additionally, we conduct hazard assessments, evaluate damage, assess design and construction defects, and perform premises liability evaluations. This role requires regular local and regional travel to project sites. We actively encourage participation in professional associations and societies to foster growth and collaboration.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct field observations, testing, and data collection.
- Prepare detailed reports outlining observations, test results, research findings, and recommendations.
- Collaborate with building departments to determine necessary repair directives.
- Research and develop technical publications.
- Engage with peers and clients through presentations and meetings.
- Participate in client-relations marketing efforts.
