AECOM’s Buildings + Places practice encompasses a wide range of services, including architecture, interior design, building engineering, workplace strategy, business transformation, asset advisory, economic analysis, development planning, master planning, urban design, and landscape architecture. AECOM is on the lookout for a dedicated mid-level Structural Engineer to join our dynamic team in Boston, MA. In this role, you will conduct site visits to observe and report on construction activities, address field inquiries, and effectively coordinate design and construction challenges.
Key responsibilities include:
- Executing moderate components of a larger project under the guidance of a senior engineer.
- Collecting and analyzing fundamental engineering data using established protocols.
- Engaging in detailed engineering assignments that involve calculations and straightforward tests.
- Proposing solutions to new challenges by adapting standard methods and procedures.
- Identifying and resolving discrepancies in engineering outcomes.
- Providing mentorship to junior engineers.
- Delivering tasks aligned with project budgets and timelines with minimal oversight.
- Independently managing essential design elements for engineering projects.
- Conducting site visits to monitor construction processes and effectively address field-related questions.
