Qualifications

Requirements:Minimum of 6 years of experience in grading, roadway paving, and geometric design of roadways. Extensive knowledge of engineering principles and materials, with experience in site civil design, stormwater management, drainage systems, earthworks, and roadway construction. Proficiency in rainfall-runoff modeling, earthworks flow management, dewatering, and stream diversion techniques. Familiarity with national design codes such as SEMARNAT, CONAGUA, SCT, NOMs, RCDF & NTC, AASHTO. Proficient in engineering design software including AutoCAD Civil 3D, Bentley Inroads, and OpenRoads. Excellent interpersonal skills and capability to collaborate within a multidisciplinary team setting. Intermediate English proficiency (B2).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Promote and articulate the vision and culture of the engineering department.
  • Oversee deliverables and initiatives, managing scope, schedule, and budget while providing regular updates to leadership.
  • Independently handle large-scale or multiple smaller engineering projects.
  • Guide team members on the application of industry standards, ensuring compliance with design regulations, specifications, and local codes.
  • Integrate requirements from Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) contracts, customer Requests for Proposals (RFPs), and other contractual obligations to achieve project goals.
  • Mentor entry-level and mid-level engineers, reviewing their progress and providing guidance for professional growth.
  • Lead the technical development of engineering calculations, plans, drawings, and specifications, including civil engineering quantity estimates and material take-offs.
