About the Role
As a vital member of our Flight Software team, you will be instrumental in designing, developing, and maintaining the software that drives the autonomous operations of Apex’s satellite buses. Your work will ensure that our spacecraft operate reliably around the clock, even in critical scenarios.
You will collaborate closely with internal teams and external clients to align your innovative solutions with our strategic goals and user needs. We seek driven engineers who excel at tackling complex challenges with a pragmatic and scalable approach, thriving in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
Design, implement, and take ownership of mission-critical software applications for satellite systems.
Assist in the commissioning of spacecraft during launch and early operational phases, ensuring software systems are fully functional during critical operations.
Manage spacecraft software solutions throughout the entire lifecycle, from initial design to deployment.
Conduct unit testing, integration testing, and system-level testing of software components, identifying and resolving defects.
Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to establish product requirements and technical roadmaps.
Requirements
Must be a U. S. Person to access export-controlled data.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in flight software development.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
