Key Responsibilities
- Engage in conceptual design, basic and detailed engineering, ensuring compliance with industry standards (e.g., NOMS, CFE, PEMEX, ASME, API, ANSI) while managing large and complex assignments.
- Review electrical specifications and data sheets for equipment, including UPS, DC chargers, LV/MV MCCs, switchgears, emergency generators, and transformers. Develop MV one-lines, schematics, and three-line diagrams independently.
- Propose power distribution arrangements and collaborate with designers and drafters to produce electrical design drawings. Oversee procurement processes for electrical equipment, including bid evaluations.
- Formulate technical specifications and establish interface points with construction partners. Coordinate design efforts with project personnel and evaluate bids for equipment and construction proposals.
- Apply engineering techniques and criteria in the conceptual design of large power projects.
- Conduct electrical engineering calculations and specifications, including layout, schematic diagrams, one-line diagrams, and cabling system routing.
- Perform electrical systems analysis utilizing ETAP or SKM software.
