Experience: Minimum of 3 years of practical microfabrication experience and expertise in multi-physics modeling. About the job

Join atomos as a proactive MEMS Fabrication Engineer specializing in Actuator Systems. In this pivotal role, you will lead the design, process development, characterization, and productization of an innovative micro-scale actuator platform. This position encompasses multi-physics modeling, microfabrication, and the initial phases of manufacturing scale-up. As one of our early hires, you will play a crucial role in shaping the foundational architecture and manufacturing strategy of our cutting-edge technology.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design & Simulation: Develop and enhance multi-physics models focusing on electromechanical and fluid dynamics.

  • Process Development: Innovate and refine custom MEMS processes from the ground up; effectively define and manage trade-offs between performance, yield, and manufacturability.

  • Microfabrication: Oversee the entire fabrication process, including patterning, surface engineering, thin-film deposition, and etching.

  • Characterization: Validate designs through both destructive and non-destructive testing methods, including SEM, C–V measurements, and accelerated stress testing.
