Position Summary
The Manager, Media Planning is responsible for overseeing and managing our comprehensive media planning initiatives while actively contributing to business growth. This role involves developing innovative media strategies and operational procedures, in addition to mentoring and developing team members.
As part of a cohesive media planning team, you will ensure that our offerings are informed by insights and experiences, leading to impeccable media executions.
Key Responsibilities
• Lead the preparation, writing, and presentation of integrated media plans, proposals, and analyses that meet client objectives and exceed expectations.
• Maintain oversight and accountability of the media plan, continuously evaluating and monitoring execution.
• Collaborate and share knowledge with internal teams, partner agencies, and departments to ensure current media and client insights.
• Ensure all media plans are aligned with the agency's values, philosophies, and processes.
• Prepare and present evaluations of media opportunities, trends, and key client issues.
• Monitor client Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and objectives, ensuring proper tracking is in place.
• Manage and lead a team, facilitating communication of agency goals, managing workloads, and supporting professional development.
• Effectively handle clients' day-to-day media planning needs, with a strong understanding of their business objectives and KPIs.
• Alert leadership of potential challenges and opportunities related to client and team management.
• Influence strategic decision-making by promoting effective offerings to clients.
• Participate in additional agency projects and new business presentations as needed.
• Oversee financial media management, including purchase authorizations, billing, and budget control, ensuring timely resolution of discrepancies.
