RESPONSIBILITIESLead and mentor a diverse team of mechanical design engineers, leveraging your knowledge and experience. Manage departmental staffing, overhead budget, performance evaluations, employee development, succession planning, and daily operations. Provide technical expertise in mechanical engineering specifically related to the design of space-related hardware and MGSE. Supervise the team’s deliverables to ensure that requirements, drawings, and other outputs meet program specifications. Foster a culture of continuous improvement in design processes and engineering practices.

YOUR MISSION

True Anomaly is seeking a visionary and seasoned leader to establish, manage, and guide a team focused on advancing programs from initial concept to full production. This pivotal role encompasses the oversight of the development, design, and procurement of primary and secondary spacecraft structures as well as mechanical ground support equipment (MGSE). You will be tasked with continually refining designs to meet stringent mission and launch requirements for spacecraft and missile defense systems. The primary and secondary structures serve as the vital environment for electronics and power subsystems, ensuring their functionality throughout the mission lifecycle, while MGSE lays the groundwork for the integration and testing of these complex systems. Together, the structural design creates the framework for spacecraft and missile defense products, while MGSE facilitates their effective deployment.
