Skills & Requirements Education / Experience: Pursuing an undergraduate degree in Mechanical Engineering. Experience with Power Generation Systems is a plus. Background in industrial systems, control systems, or IoT is advantageous. Specific Skills / Abilities: Strong attention to lab safety and detail-oriented work. Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate with field, engineering, and technology teams. A strong curiosity for problem-solving. Willingness to learn about turbomachinery and mission-critical equipment. Able to read and interpret engineering and construction drawings and specifications. Interest in data, industrial automation, reliability engineering, or digital twins. Basic circuit analysis or 3D modeling skills are beneficial.

As a Mechanical Engineering Intern, you will play a crucial role in our TurboCell Engineering team, focusing on the development, testing, and validation of our innovative TurboCell system.

The ideal candidate is adaptable, professional, and thrives in a fast-paced environment. You will be entrusted with sensitive information, requiring a high level of organization, self-motivation, and strategic thinking. Your ability to work independently as well as collaboratively will be essential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in lab activities including setup, analysis, design, and test execution.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of test activities and results in databases.
  • Conduct system and sub-system analyses related to testing and final products.
  • Analyze, design, and implement updates for the TurboCell system.
  • Support general mechanical engineering tasks as assigned.
  • Set up and configure testing equipment, which may include programming tasks.
  • Work in a high-power lab environment, ensuring compliance with safety protocols.
