Your Role

As a Mechanical Engineer at Fluidstack, you will be instrumental in designing the future of AI-optimized infrastructure as we expand to provide multiple gigawatts of facilities. This impactful engineering role involves comprehensive ownership of mechanical systems from initial concepts and analytical modeling to final construction and implementation.

You will spearhead the creation of modular template designs and innovative, supply-chain-aware solutions that facilitate quick global deployments. Acting as the technical liaison between our internal strategies and external executions, you will oversee specialized partners and consultants to ensure that designs are perfectly integrated with Fluidstack's high-density cooling and power specifications. This position is crafted for a problem-solver who excels in intricate environments and desires full control over the mechanical lifecycle of gigawatt-scale data centers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the design and enhancement of mechanical systems for AI-optimized, high-density data centers.
  • Develop and maintain modular mechanical templates to facilitate swift and repeatable global deployments.
  • Act as the technical interface between internal teams and external consultants, guaranteeing alignment with Fluidstack's standards.
  • Ensure mechanical designs seamlessly integrate with high-density cooling and power architectures.
  • Oversee mechanical systems from initial concept through analytical modeling to final execution.
  • Utilize strong analytical skills through CFD modeling and capacity planning to guide design decisions.
  • Hold external partners accountable for technical excellence while remaining adaptable as project requirements evolve.
