Key Responsibilities:Utilize CAD software to design and develop aircraft structures, mechanisms, and tooling. Conduct finite element analysis (FEA) to validate strength, stiffness, and load paths in both composite and metallic components. Generate detailed part and assembly drawings along with documentation for manufacturing and inspection processes. Design control surface mechanisms, linkages, and mounting systems for various aircraft subsystems. Work closely with manufacturing engineers to ensure designs are practical, cost-effective, and easy to assemble. Assist in the testing and validation phases of structural and mechanical systems, including fixture and rig design. Oversee the maintenance of CAD libraries, revision control, and configuration management for aircraft assemblies. Provide constructive design feedback to enhance manufacturability, maintainability, and structural efficiency. Desired Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a closely related field. Proficiency in CAD software such as Fusion 360, SolidWorks, CATIA, or NX. Solid understanding of structural design principles, stress analysis, and mechanical systems. Familiarity with FEA tools like ANSYS, Fusion Simulation, Nastran, or similar software. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
