In this role, you will be instrumental in designing, prototyping, and testing the mechanical systems that drive our humanoid robots. Your expertise will be essential in transforming concepts into scalable production-ready solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prototyping and Design: Utilize cutting-edge tools to develop and iterate prototypes for robotic mechanisms and subsystems.

  • Mechanism Design: Engineer and enhance precise mechanical systems including linkages, joints, and actuation systems.

  • Mechatronics Integration: Collaborate closely with electrical and software engineers to seamlessly integrate sensors, actuators, and control systems.

  • Industrial Design Collaboration: Work alongside our in-house design team to ensure product aesthetics align with functional requirements.

  • Manufacturing Expertise: Create designs for various manufacturing processes such as machining, casting, and 3D printing.

  • Global Supply Chain Management: Engage with suppliers and manufacturers globally to source components, manage production schedules, and uphold quality standards.

  • Testing and Analysis: Conduct life-cycle testing, quality assurance, and failure analysis to validate your designs and ensure product reliability.

  • Volume Production Oversight: Lead the transition of designs from prototype to mass production while collaborating with global manufacturing partners.

  • Documentation: Maintain comprehensive design documentation, including CAD models, technical drawings, and test data.
