Qualifications

Key ResponsibilitiesContribute to the development of project objectives, goals, and documentation standards. Design HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection systems from concept through to construction completion. Prepare comprehensive engineering design calculations and layouts for mechanical systems. Create detailed engineering reports and narratives. Coordinate design requirements for HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection with architectural, structural, and other disciplines. Required QualificationsBachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering.5+ years of experience in a MEP firm focusing on commercial and public projects. Demonstrated expertise in designing HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection systems for complex projects. Preferred QualificationsLicensed Professional Engineer. LEED Accredited Professional with experience in the LEED or similar green rating systems. Passion for sustainable building design. Experience with energy modeling tools such as Trace 700 and IESVE. Familiarity with BIM workflows, particularly Autodesk Revit MEP.
