Role overview

This freelance opportunity is designed for mechanical engineers with strong Python skills who are interested in flexible, part-time project work. Contributors play a key role in creating and validating computational engineering problems that advance AI development.

What you will do

  • Develop original engineering scenarios that mirror real-world processes.
  • Design problems that require Python programming for engineering computations and simulations.
  • Ensure tasks involve computationally intensive methods, including numerical or iterative solutions.
  • Create scenarios focused on system design, optimization, and analytical problem-solving.
  • Base your work on real research questions or practical engineering applications.
  • Validate solutions in Python, using recognized engineering libraries.
  • Write clear problem statements and provide thoroughly checked solutions.

Requirements

  • Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a closely related field.
  • Proficiency in Python for numerical validation. Experience with MATLAB, R, C, SQL, Numpy, Pandas, SciPy, or similar tools is also valued.
  • At least 2 years of relevant experience in applied, research, or teaching roles.
  • Understanding of practical engineering limitations and approximations.
  • Excellent written English (C1 level or above).
