RESPONSIBILITIES:Design test stand concepts, fabrication drawings, wiring schematics, and instrumentation lists. Analyze and design structures, fluid systems, and mechanisms. Oversee the integration of test stands, including fabrication, mechanical assembly, and data/control systems. Operate test stands with meticulous attention to detail as tests have minimal margins for error. Collaborate with the flight engineering team to develop test requirements and create design solutions that meet or exceed those specifications. BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:Bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline.1+ years of industry experience (internships or co-ops considered). PREFERRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:Experience with extracurricular projects involving the design and construction of mechanical structures and/or high-pressure systems. Professional background in designing and analyzing mechanical structures. Familiarity with hydraulic, thermal, structural, electromechanical systems, and high-pressure environments.

The Starlink Development Test team is a dynamic research and development group dedicated to minimizing hardware development time while enhancing reliability through extensive testing of next-generation hardware. In this role, Test Engineers will design, fabricate, and implement test equipment, while also conducting development tests on new structures, components, mechanisms, and more.
