Role Overview
The Marketing Advisor plays a central role in guiding and executing marketing and branding projects for Compass real estate agents. This position manages projects from start to finish, provides strategic recommendations, and collaborates with stakeholders to strengthen marketing efforts for agents. The goal: make marketing more effective and less time-consuming for agents, while ensuring a strong, consistent brand presence.
Location requirement: This is a 100% in-office role based in Boston, Cambridge, or Wellesley, MA.
What You Will Do
- Develop and implement marketing strategies for a wide range of real estate agents to drive business growth and client satisfaction.
- Manage custom marketing projects end to end: oversee design workflows, coordinate with vendors, communicate directly with agents, and deliver post-campaign analysis.
- Offer tailored marketing recommendations to help agents allocate budgets across branding, print advertising, digital, social media, direct mail, video, and paid media.
- Serve as a subject matter expert on market trends, client needs, Compass tools, and regional dynamics.
- Build strong relationships with agents and stakeholders through clear communication, regular updates, and effective handling of concerns.
- Ensure all marketing and design materials follow Compass brand guidelines while incorporating each agent’s unique branding.
- Quickly create templated creative assets (such as print ads and brochures) using InDesign and Compass systems, maintaining quality and brand consistency.
- Deliver high-level customer service through meaningful support, personalized recognition, and proactive marketing guidance.
- Promote a positive team culture by supporting colleagues, focusing on solutions, and advocating for improvements.
