Qualifications

You Must Reside in the United States, preferably near San Francisco, to Apply. A high school diploma or equivalent is required; a bachelor’s degree or equivalent with relevant experience is preferred. Previous maritime experience is advantageous. Proficiency in MS Office applications is essential. Exceptional verbal and written communication skills are required. Meticulous attention to detail and strong organizational abilities are necessary. Candidates must be adept at managing multiple tasks simultaneously and completing them in a timely manner. Ability to work both independently and as part of a team is crucial. Self-motivated individuals who can perform primary job functions unsupervised and adhere to SOPs are preferred. Strong problem-solving skills, with a capacity to quickly address customer service issues, are essential. Must be eligible to work in the United States (US Citizen or US Permanent Resident). Proximity to the San Francisco area is mandatory.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Attend to vessels and manage all operational tasks in accordance with GAC’s Quality Management System.

  • Respond to inquiries and assist our principals with prompt, professional communication.

  • Coordinate vessel arrivals with port staff, including pilots, tugs, line handlers, terminal operators, and government officials.

  • Oversee all communications during vessel activities, ensuring that principals, owners/operators, and port personnel are fully informed.

  • Prepare and finalize necessary documentation, including governmental forms and company reports such as the Statement of Facts.
