As the Manufacturing Value Stream Manager, you will play a pivotal role in defining and structuring manufacturing processes and business workflows. Your focus will be on aligning all activities that comprise the manufacturing value chain, from product development through to delivery and the complete product lifecycle, including commissioning, repairs, and returns. Your responsibilities encompass identifying, assessing, proposing, and, where appropriate, implementing solutions aimed at digitizing, optimizing, and streamlining the entire value-creating workflow at Genetec. You will be part of a team driving the digital transformation of manufacturing and business processes related to the production and delivery of Genetec's manufactured products.
Your Day at a Glance:
- Lead the digitization of manufacturing processes and business workflows related to the production and delivery of Genetec's manufactured products.
- Implement Industry 4.0 principles, connecting our various business systems and data for enhanced real-time visibility into manufacturing operations, inventory, and supply chain.
- Develop a connected ecosystem with our manufacturing partners and supply chain collaborators.
- Create and implement a cost control and monitoring system for all products manufactured by Genetec.
- Establish and maintain a dashboard of key performance indicators related to manufacturing activities (inventory, deliveries, operations, etc.).
- Design and deploy tools that integrate manufacturing data with operational insights from ERP, supply chain, customer service, and other enterprise systems to improve visibility and generate insights for all manufactured products.
- Enhance the digital maturity of our entire manufacturing chain, including supply chain and product delivery.
- Increase the automation of daily operations, manufacturing transactions, and product delivery processes.
- Eliminate waste.
What Makes You an Excellent Candidate:
- Over 10 years of relevant experience in electronic manufacturing.
- Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, with an additional degree in Business Administration (a significant asset).
- Driven and results-oriented personality.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
- Proficient in process mapping.
- Mastery of the Microsoft Office Suite.
