RequirementsYour ResponsibilitiesDesign comprehensive quality strategies for robot manufacturing processes, encompassing subassemblies and complete systems. Perform PFMEA to identify potential failure modes and enhance process robustness. Collaborate closely with test and firmware teams to embed quality checks in operational workflows. Analyze test data to track yields and pinpoint root causes of failures. Work alongside design teams to implement quality enhancements across components and systems. Lead Design of Experiments (DOE) to refine pass/fail criteria and enhance test accuracy. Assess test station performance and scalability at various sites. Document quality plans, testing protocols, and corrective actions comprehensively. Essential QualificationsBachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Robotics Engineering, or a related field. A minimum of 3 years of experience in electromechanical hardware testing within a manufacturing environment. Proficient in PCBA testing, IMU calibration, actuator and sensor validation, or end-of-line system testing. Strong knowledge of PFMEA, Gage R&R, and statistical data analysis techniques. Hands-on familiarity with test hardware including power supplies, CAN tools, and actuators. Self-motivated individual with excellent time management and keen attention to detail. Exceptional technical documentation and communication skills. Experience with autonomous or humanoid robotic systems is a plus. Knowledge of scalable test systems across multiple manufacturing sites. A background in startup or fast-paced hardware development environments.
