Team Overview:

The Brain Interfaces Mechanical Engineering Team is a vital component in the creation of advanced brain-computer interfaces. Our focus is on the design, manufacturing, and rigorous testing of high-quality mechanical systems integral to our implants and chargers.

Key Responsibilities:

As a Manufacturing Technician, you will play a critical role in the production of our implants and accessories. You will work with intricately designed components, including micron-scale electrode threads and sophisticated electronic assemblies. Your daily tasks will encompass:

  • Executing mechanical and electrical assembly of implant components and chargers, ensuring integration of final products.
  • Constructing small implant subassemblies with custom micron-scale electrode arrays and System on Chip (SoC) technology with exceptional precision.
  • Utilizing advanced equipment such as flip-chip bonders and laser welders to achieve high-quality manufacturing standards.
  • Conducting routine equipment maintenance and calibration to ensure operational efficiency.
  • Packaging final products for distribution with utmost care.
  • Managing parts inventory and ensuring availability for production schedules.
  • Performing functional testing on assembled hardware, including setup, instrumentation, and execution of tests.
  • Upholding product quality and adherence to design specifications.
  • Maintaining an organized and pristine workspace.
