Job Mission
As a Manufacturing Engineer I, you will be instrumental in bringing ASM's cutting-edge semiconductor equipment to life by designing and implementing automated test solutions. Your contributions will directly enhance our global manufacturing strategy by optimizing test efficiency, minimizing downtime, and ensuring the highest product quality. Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop hardware and/or software for automated testing equipment.
- Assess project requirements and propose technical solutions, including debugging plans, preventive maintenance schedules, and comprehensive documentation.
- Lead the design of new test fixtures and oversee their deployment, issue tracking, and engineering change requests.
- Create testing procedures based on manufacturing engineering inputs and analyze test data for continuous improvement.
- Diagnose technical issues across multiple projects and prioritize deliverables effectively.
- Provide ongoing support for deployed test equipment, focusing on calibration and maintenance.
- Collaborate with internal teams to facilitate the sourcing and deployment of test fixtures and components.
- Conduct root cause analyses and generate failure reports for design and deployment challenges.
