Qualifications

RESPONSIBILITIES:Design, construct, qualify, and implement projects that encompass machine design, robotics, and manufacturing processes from concept through to production. Develop, write, and troubleshoot PLC code. Deploy vision systems for robotic guidance, quality assurance, and data collection. Create systems to monitor processes, optimize factory performance, and promote cross-team collaboration to enhance manufacturing efficiency. Design user interfaces that simplify the operation and troubleshooting of complex machinery. Generate electrical, pneumatic, and fluid schematics for control panels. Ensure safety in our factories by implementing ANSI/RIA15.06/OSHA-compliant systems. BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science/Engineering, or a related STEM field.1+ years of experience in the design and commissioning of automation and control systems for manufacturing (internships and co-op experiences are acceptable). PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:Hands-on experience in at least one of the following areas, with a willingness to learn more:Industrial Automation:Automation Hardware: PLCs, commercial off-the-shelf robots, servo motion systems, machine vision, distributed I/O, pneumatic controls, etc. Fieldbus Networking Protocols: EtherCAT, Profinet, Ethernet/IP, Modbus TCP/RTU, etc. Machinery and Processes: dispenser, pick and place, fastener installation, automated bonding, thermo-compression, soldering, ultrasonic welding, etc.
