Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field; Master's degree preferred.5+ years of experience in thermal control systems engineering or a related discipline, with a track record of leading teams. Strong knowledge of fluid dynamics, thermal systems design, and testing methodologies. Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment. Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.

We are currently seeking a Manager of Thermal Control Systems, who will report to the Senior Manager of Thermal Control Systems Hardware. In this pivotal role, you will oversee the development of the thermal and fluid systems essential for artificial gravity and long-term human habitation in space. You will lead a talented team of mechanical engineers while directly contributing to system architecture, design, and testing. Your work will be integral in creating mission-critical hardware designed to function flawlessly in orbit, significantly advancing human-rated spaceflight.

This full-time, exempt position is located in Long Beach, CA.
