Key Responsibilities: Strategic Partnership: Collaborate closely with the Head of Real Estate & Workplace to ensure the ABP function aligns with Asana’s overarching business objectives. Program Evaluation: Perform in-depth strategic assessments of internal programs to evaluate their long-term viability and impact on executive productivity, deciding whether to scale, adjust, or maintain them. Team Development: Mentor a high-performing team of ABPs, ensuring accountability for the quality and consistency of their work, and instilling a strong business context in every interaction that aligns with company priorities. Standardization of Excellence: Establish a benchmark for executive support excellence based on Asana's Operating Principles, creating guidelines for calendar management, global travel, and meeting protocols that consider executive-specific needs while upholding a high global standard. Resource Management: Oversee headcount planning, budgeting, and workload distribution to ensure optimal support for each executive. Occasionally provide ABP coverage during resource constraints. Cultural Development: Cultivate a sense of community and teamwork among a group often siloed within various functional departments. Empathetic Leadership: Serve as a stable, empathetic coach for the ABP team, guiding them through the challenges of their fast-paced and high-pressure roles and outlining clear career pathways for their personal and professional growth.

Asana is looking for a Manager of Executive Assistance and Workplace Operations to lead its global Administrative Business Partner (ABP) community. This leadership role combines operational management with a strong focus on developing and supporting a team that works directly with executive leadership.

Key Responsibilities

  • Guide and support the full-time global ABP team, focusing on career growth and professional development
  • Oversee the offshore ABP support program
  • Maintain smooth operational processes while prioritizing team wellbeing
  • Promote stability and clarity as the team partners with Asana’s top executives

Work Location and Schedule

This position is based in Vancouver, BC and follows a hybrid work schedule:

  • In-office presence required on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays
  • Most employees work remotely on Wednesdays
  • Friday work-from-home options depend on job responsibilities and team needs
