Qualifications

Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field; Master's degree preferred.5+ years of experience managing CAE systems, particularly NX/Teamcenter and Ansys. Proven leadership experience with the ability to mentor and grow a team of technical professionals. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a track record of cross-functional collaboration. Excellent communication skills to effectively convey complex technical information to non-technical stakeholders. Understanding of aerospace industry trends, regulations, and best practices. Experience with process improvement methodologies and implementation of technology solutions. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, start-up environment, demonstrating hands-on execution as required.

Vast is seeking a Manager of Engineering Information Systems, who will report directly to the Director of Information Systems, to oversee the critical systems required for designing and constructing artificial-gravity, human-rated space stations.

This is a full-time, exempt position based in our Long Beach, California office.
