The Maintenance and Reliability Engineering Specialist will play a pivotal role in enhancing the reliability and maintainability of our installations. This position is focused on ensuring optimal performance of equipment, processes, utilities, facilities, controls, and safety/security systems. You will be instrumental in defining, designing, and refining our asset maintenance plan, which encompasses:
- Value-added preventive maintenance initiatives
- Strategically employing predictive and non-destructive testing methodologies to detect and address inherent reliability issues
Your contributions will also extend to developing a comprehensive risk management plan that identifies both reliability-related and non-reliability-related risks that could hinder our operational efficiency. You will assist in engineering solutions for recurring failures and various challenges impacting plant operations, including capacity, quality, cost, and regulatory compliance. Key responsibilities will involve performing Root Cause Analysis (RCA), Root Cause Failure Analysis (RCFA), and managing the Failure Reporting, Analysis, and Corrective Action System (FRACAS).
Collaboration with Production and Engineering teams will be essential for analyzing assets on multiple fronts, including:
- Asset utilization
- Overall equipment effectiveness
- Remaining useful life
- Other critical parameters impacting operational reliability and costs
In this role, you will provide essential technical support to production, maintenance management, and engineering personnel.
