Qualifications
Key Responsibilities:Build & Scale: Develop and maintain fault-tolerant, high-performance systems for serving robotics-related and foundational models at scale, ensuring minimal latency for real-time applications. Platform Development: Create an internal platform that enhances model capability discovery, promoting quicker iteration cycles for robotics research teams. Collaboration: Partner closely with Robotics researchers and Computer Vision engineers to optimize models for both production and research settings. Design Excellence: Conduct architectural and design reviews to ensure adherence to best practices in scalability, reliability, and security. Observability: Implement monitoring solutions to maintain system health and track real-time model inference performance. Leadership: Manage projects from conception to implementation in a dynamic, cross-functional environment. Preferred Qualifications:4+ years of experience in developing large-scale, high-performance backend systems with a strong focus on machine learning infrastructure. Expertise in optimizing computer vision and other machine learning algorithms for cloud environments, including GPU-level optimizations (e.g., CUDA, kernel tuning). Proficiency in programming languages such as Python and C++ with a solid understanding of system architecture and design.
