Role overview
This Machine Learning Engineer position is based in London within the Visual Computing Group (VCG) at Sony Interactive Entertainment. The group focuses on research and development aimed at advancing gameplay and live streaming technology. The work involves designing and applying advanced neural networks and machine learning techniques to improve game rendering and streaming systems. The goal is to achieve greater efficiency, enhanced visual quality, and reduced latency for players and viewers.
What you will do
- Develop and refine generative models for graphics and video processing, supporting live video streaming and game rendering applications.
- Research and prototype new approaches for graphics or video enhancement, including building data generation pipelines using generative models.
- Collaborate with colleagues to prepare publications and assist with patent applications.
- Contribute to core R&D projects in partnership with teams across Sony Interactive Entertainment.
