As a vital part of the Systems Engineering team at Optasia, your key responsibility will be to guarantee the stability, security, and seamless operation of our Linux-based systems. This includes managing core platforms, supporting essential services, and ensuring optimal performance across both production and staging environments.

Your Responsibilities

  • Administer and maintain Linux systems (Red Hat and Debian) across production and staging environments.
  • Execute regular patch management, system updates, and security enhancements.
  • Oversee and monitor system performance utilizing Nagios, Grafana, and other relevant tools.
  • Support and maintain applications such as Passbolt, DNS, FreeIPA, Radius, Jenkins, and Red Hat Satellite.
  • Conduct incident management, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis to secure system reliability and uptime.
  • Engage in operations and maintenance tasks as well as system improvement initiatives.
  • Track and manage licenses, End of Support, and End of Life for Linux assets and software.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to bolster infrastructure and authentication services.
  • Ensure precise documentation for configurations, changes, and operational procedures.

Your Qualifications

  • 3-5 years of substantial experience as a Linux Systems Engineer or Administrator.
  • Deep understanding of Red Hat Enterprise Linux and Debian administration.
  • Proficient in FreeIPA, DNS, and Red Hat Satellite.
  • Familiar with Nagios, Grafana, and Radius.
  • Strong grasp of system patching, incident management, and operations & maintenance processes.
  • Proficient in scripting or automation (Bash, Python, Ansible).
  • Excellent documentation, communication, and collaboration abilities.
