This residential program supports individuals working to address substance use, offering a three-to-six-month stay with both group and individual counseling. Life skills development is a key part of the program, delivered by a clinical team that includes psychotherapists, social workers, and addiction treatment workers. The supervisor leads, coaches, and supports staff to maintain high standards of care and programming. Building a collaborative and compassionate team environment is central to the role. A successful Police Records Check (Vulnerable Sector) is required prior to employment.Key Responsibilities:Conduct substance use assessments and manage program screening, intake, completion, discharge, and referrals.Collaboratively develop and monitor treatment plans with participants, evaluating their progress.Create accommodation plans for participants as necessary.Design and implement evidence-based programming, including specialized workshops tailored to community needs.Deliver individual and group counselling sessions both in person and virtually, employing an eclectic therapeutic approach.Manage cases comprehensively, including consultations, treatment planning, and collaboration with external and internal partners.Assess complex situations and make informed decisions independently and as a team, including crisis intervention and safety planning.Establish a strong therapeutic rapport with participants while maintaining professional boundaries.Complete all necessary documentation and data entry in accordance with agency and legislative guidelines.Uphold confidentiality in compliance with the Personal Health Information Protection Act (PHIPA).Engage in other program initiatives, Addiction Services, and activities within the agency.Contribute to team efforts, including attending meetings, training, and supervision sessions.Support the onboarding and training of new team members.Commit to ongoing professional development and training.
