Qualifications:Completed a Diploma in Special Education (DISE) from NIE or hold a Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Social Work, or a related field. A minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in teaching or coaching life skills to students with special needs. Skilled in delivering structured lessons and creating engaging activities that promote independence while catering to diverse learning needs. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a strong commitment to student development.

The Life Skills Team plays a pivotal role in delivering exceptional life skills education via strategic curriculum innovation, effective program execution, and cohesive coordination. Our Life Skills Trainers craft personalized lessons and immersive learning experiences, empowering students with vital skills for daily living, personal safety, and overall well-being. This position transcends traditional classroom settings, emphasizing hands-on, real-world practice to foster students' confidence in applying life skills across diverse environments.

As a Trainer, Life Skills, you will:

  • Customize and Deliver Lessons: Tailor lessons to the unique needs of each student, focusing on social skills, daily routines, and independent living.
  • Contribute to Programme Development: Engage in refining the Life Skills curriculum and resources to ensure quality educational outcomes.
  • Organize Life Skills Learning Experiences: Plan and implement educational experiences such as residential camps and overseas trips to cultivate confidence and independence.
  • Facilitate Real-World Learning: Guide students through experiential activities and community outings, bridging theory and application.
  • Monitor and Assess Progress: Maintain detailed portfolios to track student development and identify growth opportunities.
  • Collaborate with Key Stakeholders: Partner with families, educators, and community organizations to build a robust support network for student success.
