A minimum of 1 year of experience as a Medical Technician. Generalist laboratory experience across multiple disciplines.

This position is tailored for meticulous laboratory professionals who excel in a structured and fast-paced night-shift environment.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct precise and timely laboratory tests in accordance with established protocols.

  • Analyze proficiency testing samples within designated timeframes.

  • Execute STAT testing and adhere to turnaround time requirements.

  • Utilize sound judgment for interpreting and correlating patient results, including delta checks.

  • Implement and document quality control procedures as per established protocols.

  • Review pending logs and results, addressing outstanding workload issues.

  • Complete all necessary documentation related to patient testing and results.

  • Promptly escalate critical values and laboratory concerns as necessary.

  • Assume departmental responsibilities during the absence of supervisory staff when required.
