Certifications: Completion of an advanced MS Project or equivalent project scheduling software course is required. Education and Experience:High School Diploma/GED with 8 years of relevant experience, orAssociate’s Degree with 6 years of relevant experience, orBachelor’s Degree with 4 years of relevant experience, orMaster’s Degree with 2 years of relevant experience, orPh. D. with relevant experience. Additionally, candidates must have at least 2 years of proven experience managing schedules for engineering programs involving hardware and software development across multiple sub-components, utilizing MS Project or similar software. Clearance: An active TS/SCI clearance is mandatory.

We are seeking a highly skilled Level 2 Project Scheduler who excels in identifying root causes and resolving complex issues. The ideal candidate will possess strong problem-solving abilities and will support junior technicians, specialists, and managers in their tasks. This role requires both independent work and active participation in integrated teams, with opportunities to lead projects or teams.

As a Level 2 Project Scheduler, you will:

  • Facilitate weekly project meetings to ensure alignment and progress.
  • Provide strategic recommendations to the program manager regarding the allocation of management reserves to address resource and schedule constraints.
  • Coordinate milestones and interdependencies across various projects and functional areas, including engineering, manufacturing, testing, and quality control.
  • Assist in resolving dispatch system and hardware issues, remaining actively involved in the resolution process.
  • Design, develop, and maintain detailed resource-loaded schedules for various systems, from implementation to operational phases.
  • Collaborate with development and operational teams to create and keep schedules up to date.
  • Utilize or recommend automated scheduling tools, such as MS Project or Primavera.
  • Develop and modify project schedules, integrating multiple schedules into an overarching Master Program Schedule.
  • Maintain the overall Master Program/Project Schedule, ensuring all linkages with overarching programs and Integrated Master Plans (IMPs) are current.
  • Create layered schedules and IMPs to track acquisition project progress and its alignment with broader organizational objectives.
  • Monitor and maintain status on related project dependencies.
