Key Responsibilities:
- Install and replace Layer 2 network switches throughout designated hospital wards and departments.
- Label, patch, and test network connections to guarantee optimal connectivity and performance.
- Collaborate with the Network Engineering team to follow configuration templates and deployment plans.
- Document installation activities, including port mappings, device locations, and serial numbers.
- Conduct basic troubleshooting and diagnostics to confirm switch functionality post-installation.
- Adhere to hospital infection control and safety protocols.
- Coordinate with clinical and facilities teams to schedule downtime and access.
- Escalate issues to Level 3 support or Network Engineers as necessary.
