Responsibilities of Learning Systems Engineers at Collibra include: Manage and enhance our external-facing Learning Management System (LMS) and its integrations to ensure a seamless, high-performance user experience for our global clientele. Design and oversee the education data pipeline from the LMS to our data lake, ensuring the extraction of high-quality metadata and accurate reporting for stakeholders. Automate essential learning operations, such as badge issuance and certification enrollments, to scale program delivery and minimize manual efforts for the Education team. Implement AI-driven solutions and sophisticated workflows to provide deeper customer insights and customize the learner journey at scale. Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical support tickets, identifying root causes and proactively enhancing platform stability and user satisfaction. Qualifications: 3+ years of experience in managing and optimizing enterprise LMS platforms (experience with Docebo is a significant advantage). Proven technical skills in REST APIs or Python for systems integration and task automation. Hands-on expertise in creating automated workflows with middleware tools like Zapier or Workato. Demonstrated experience in managing learning data pipelines, including data extraction, metadata mapping, and analytics reporting. A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Educational Technology, or a related field.

About the Role

The Learning Systems Engineer joins Collibra’s Education team within the Professional Services division. This position reports to the Director of Education and works to support Data Citizens worldwide by building and refining learning experiences that help customers succeed with Collibra’s products.

This role acts as the technical bridge between education and innovation. The focus is on optimizing learning platforms and removing barriers for users on their Data Intelligence journey. The work centers on improving workflows and systems so customers can learn Collibra efficiently and intuitively.

What You Will Do

  • Design and enhance learning systems and workflows to support customer education
  • Apply technical skills in APIs and automation to streamline processes and remove obstacles
  • Collaborate closely with the Education team and other stakeholders to deliver seamless learning experiences
  • Prioritize customer needs in every system improvement and workflow

Work Location and Schedule

This is a hybrid position based in Raleigh, North Carolina. The role requires on-site presence at the Raleigh office at least two days each week to encourage collaboration and maintain strong team connections.
