On Running is seeking a Lead Technical Representative based in Atlanta to guide the growth and delivery of grassroots educational and experiential programs across the region. This position reports to the Senior Lead on the Brand Experience team. The Lead will manage a team of Technical Representatives, supporting them as they serve wholesale partners and strengthen On Running’s presence in local communities. The role balances high-level project management with hands-on coaching, ensuring the brand’s premium positioning is evident in every training, trial event, and retail interaction.
What You Will Do
- Recruit, onboard, and develop a regional team of Technical Representatives, ensuring strong performance and engagement.
- Mentor team members to deepen their technical expertise, build relationships, and support their career growth within Brand Experience.
- Organize and deliver dealer training events, including Oniversity and Key Account Summits, maintaining brand standards throughout all activities.
- Serve as a strategic contact for key national accounts, offering tailored education and integrated marketing support.
- Monitor team results and identify challenges using Salesforce, ThirdChannel, and Asana, providing actionable, data-based insights.
- Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, Trade, and Operations teams to align grassroots initiatives with larger campaigns and business goals.
- Develop creative strategies to engage retailers and consumers, rethinking traditional technical representative programs to deliver memorable experiences.
- Manage complex regional projects and budgets, allocating resources to maximize product trials and community involvement.
What We’re Looking For
- At least 6 years of experience in technical representation, field marketing, retail management, or sales roles with a premium, performance-focused global brand or retailer.
- History of building and maintaining strong relationships in the running specialty or outdoor retail sectors across varied regions.
- Advanced skills with CRM and project management tools such as Salesforce, Asana, or ThirdChannel to drive efficiency and track results.
- Experience producing events and leading experiential marketing, with the ability to explain complex product technology and human physiology clearly.
