AECOM is seeking a Lead Structural Engineer specializing in Data Centers to join our dynamic and growing team in Bucharest. This role involves in-house structural design for a diverse range of projects, which include, but are not limited to, data centers, bridges, viaducts, earth-retaining structures, underground structures, culverts, and building structures.
Our team has a proven history of delivering exceptional engineering design solutions for projects across the USA, Australia, Canada, and the Middle East.

Key Responsibilities:
- Lead technical aspects of projects, collaborating with Project Managers and technical teams to ensure delivery within the defined scope, budget, and timeline while maintaining high-quality standards.
- Utilize your proficiency in Revit, Tekla Structural Designer, Etabs, SAP2000, Robot, and other design software.
- Manage a structural engineering team within a multidisciplinary environment where all project drawings are produced using BIM tools (Autodesk Revit).
- Engage with clients regarding schedules, meetings, and project issues to manage expectations and perceptions effectively.
- Support and contribute to the digital transformation strategy, embracing changes within the engineering discipline.
- Conduct technical reviews and audits to ensure designs meet project requirements and company objectives in a timely and cost-effective manner.
- Promote adherence to all relevant engineering standards and internal protocols for design activities.
